Goodluck Jonathan Snubs Meeting With PDP Chairman Modu Sheriff

Nigeria's former President Goodluck Jonathan has ignored a meeting called by PDP National Chairman Ali Modu Sheriff, Punch reports.

Several ex governors elected on the PDP platform attended the stakeholders meeting in Abuja heralded by Modu Sheriff at the party’s national headquarters.

Goodluck Jonathan, his deputy, Namadi Sambo; and former governors Peter Odili (Rivers), Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom), Donald Duke (Cross River), Sullivan Chime (Enugu), Liyel Imoke (Cross River), and deputy governor Muktar Shagari of Sokoto State were also invited to the meeting, but were absent.
