President Muhammadu Buhari is set to sign the 2016 budget this week.
This was said by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Saturday during the annual public policy forum, The Platform in Abuja, according to Daily Post.
“The budget will become operational in the next few days,” Osinbajo was quoted as saying.
This came after President Muhammadu Buhari and the leadership of the National Assembly set up technical committees on Wednesday, to look into the "grey areas" in the 2016 budget.
The two committees were expected to study the areas of dispute and come up with a "harmonized position" in a bid to fast track the signing of the N6.06 trillion budget.
