As christains celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, a chairmanship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Lagos State, Engr. Adeshola Openibo, on saturday in her Easter message urged Nigerians to use the period to cater for the needy.
" The public holiday should not be used for outings and meriment alone but should be used to help the poor and needy in various ways.
" It should also be a time for sober reflection and deep thinking to analyse our lives and thinking in making them better," she said.
The aspirant further call for sacrifices from all and sundry to redeem our nation from its present economic doldrums and other challenges stressing that for all believers, our present situation should be seen as a temporary phase God can reverse for good.
