Aisha Buhari, Shehu Involved In Illegal Forex Transactions - PDP

Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari and Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media, Garba Shehu have been accused by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP of involvement in illegal Foreign Exchange (FOREX) transaction.
PDP taking to social media of Saturday, March 26 said that the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele helped the President’s wife obtain $22 million at a rate of N197 adding that she then sold it on the black market at th rate of N340.
It said the President’s spokesman received $800,000 at a discounted rate of N185 per dollar and sold it at rate of N350 per dollar, same day.
Shehu is also accused of obtaining a choice land allocation from the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammad Bello.
The PDP also accused President Muhammadu Buhari of withdrawing a total amount of $23 million for foreign trips in a space of 9 months.
In defence, Mrs Buhari took to her twitter to deny the allegation, threatening to sue the PDP for defamation.
Also, the President spokesman also threatened to sue the party and stated that day he starts trading in Forex he will resign his position.
